After his hitch was up, he settled in Nashville where he now spends a great deal of his time recording. Upon his graduation from high school Mark entered the Army where he immediately was sought after to entertain his fellow GI's. From this family of five girls and four boys came the famous vocal trio of the forties, the Dinning Sisters. All of the Dinning offspring inherited musical talent from their father, an evangelist minister who provided them with a steady diet of song and music. Mark Dinning, the youngest of a musical family of nine children, was born in 1933 in Grant County, Oklahoma.
